CAD Batch Pro 2026 supports Autodesk AutoCAD and AutoCAD‑based vertical products for versions 2025 through 2027 on Windows 64‑bit. AutoCAD LT is not supported because it does not allow third‑party plug‑ins.
Yes! Because CAD Batch Pro operates on the core AutoCAD engine, it is fully compatible with AutoCAD vertical products including Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Advance Steel, Mechanical, MEP, Electrical, and Architecture.
Yes. The toolkit integrates directly into your CAD ribbon interface, allowing you to access all batch tools without leaving your workspace.
Absolutely. Almost all tools in CAD Batch Pro are specifically designed for batch processing workflows across large drawing sets.
Internet access may be required for initial license activation and to check for software updates. The core processing functions work entirely offline.
1. General Usage Instructions
Once installed, a new ribbon tab named 'CAD Batch Pro' will appear in AutoCAD. You can access all 10 modules directly from this ribbon tab. Most commands will present a unified user interface where you can add multiple DWG/DXF files, configure the batch operation settings, and click 'Run' to process them all automatically without opening them manually in the editor.
2. Commands and Features
• Batch Plot DWG (Command: CADBATCHPLOT)
Automatically plot multiple drawings to PDF, DWF, or physical printers with consistent page setups.
• Batch PDF to DWG (Command: BATCHPDF2DWG)
Convert multiple PDF files into editable AutoCAD drawings in one click.
• Batch Split DWG (Command: BATCHSPLIT)
Split multi-layout drawings into individual DWG files automatically.
• Batch Find & Replace (Command: BATCHFINDREP)
Search and replace text, MText, and block attributes across hundreds of drawings.
• Batch Attribute Editor (Command: BATCHATTEDIT)
Modify block attributes across multiple files simultaneously.
• Batch Block Updater (Command: BATCHBLOCKUPD)
Redefine and update block definitions in multiple drawings without opening them manually.
• AutoCAD Batch Purge (Command: BATCHPURGE)
Clean up and purge unused layers, blocks, and styles across entire projects to save disk space.
• Layer Translator (Command: BATCHLAYTRANS)
Standardize layer names, colors, and linetypes to conform to your company standards.
• Super Save All (Command: SUPERSAVEALL)
Save all open documents with a single command, automatically bypassing prompts.
• AutoCAD Batch DXF (Command: BATCHDXF)
Convert hundreds of DWG files into DXF format (or vice versa) in seconds.
• AutoCAD Batch DWG (Command: BATCHDWGVER)
Batch convert DWG files to older or newer AutoCAD format versions.
• Text to Attribute (TXT2ATT) (Command: TXT2ATT)
Convert simple text into block attributes easily (LISP utility).
3. Known Issues
• During batch operations on very large sets of drawings (>500 files), AutoCAD might become temporarily unresponsive. This is expected behavior as the background core engine processes the files.
• The 'Batch PDF to DWG' tool relies on AutoCAD's native PDFIMPORT engine, so raster images embedded in PDFs will not be converted to vector lines.
