CAD Batch Pro 2026 supports Autodesk AutoCAD and AutoCAD-based vertical products for versions 2021 through 2027 on Windows 64-bit. AutoCAD LT is not supported, because it does not load third-party .NET plug-ins.

Yes! Because CAD Batch Pro operates on the core AutoCAD engine, it is fully compatible with AutoCAD vertical products including Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Advance Steel, Mechanical, MEP, Electrical, and Architecture.

An internet connection is used to verify your subscription or trial with Autodesk. All drawing processing runs entirely on your own machine - no file, drawing content or project data ever leaves it.

If the machine cannot reach Autodesk, the tools keep working for 14 days on the last verified licence, so a site with no connectivity is not a stoppage.

The application does not check for updates and sends no telemetry.

Absolutely. Almost all tools in CAD Batch Pro are specifically designed for batch processing workflows across large drawing sets.

Internet access may be required for initial license activation and to check for software updates. The core processing functions work entirely offline.

1. General Usage Instructions

Once installed, a new ribbon tab named 'CAD Batch Pro 2026' will appear in AutoCAD. You can access all 13 modules directly from this ribbon tab. Most commands will present a unified user interface where you can add multiple DWG/DXF files, configure the batch operation settings, and click 'Run' to process them all automatically without opening them manually in the editor.

Enhanced Batch Plot PDF (BATCHPLOT_PDF)

Plot the title-block frame of every selected layout to its own PDF, across many drawings, and name each file from the attributes in the title block.

Batch Split DWG (BATCHSPLITDWG)

Split a multi-layout drawing into one DWG per sheet, cropped to the title block.

Batch Save As DWG (BATCHDWG)

Convert drawings to another DWG format, optionally binding xrefs, purging and removing proxies on the way.

Batch DWG to DXF (BATCHDXF)

The same, writing DXF.

Batch PDF to DWG Converter (PDF2DWG_PRO)

Import the vector content of PDF files into drawings, sorted onto layers by object type.

Batch Find and Replace (BATCHFR)

Replace text across many drawings: single-line text, MText, block attributes, dimension overrides, multileaders and table cells. Optional regular expressions, with a preview.

Batch ATT Editor (BATCHEDIT)

Review and edit every block attribute across a set of drawings in one grid, or export to Excel, edit there, and import the changes back.

Batch Block Updater (UPDATEBLOCKS)

Push a corrected block definition into many drawings at once, with attributes synchronised and existing values preserved.

Batch Purge and Remove Proxy (BATCHPURGE)

Purge unused layers, blocks, styles and registered applications, strip proxy objects, and remove empty ACIS objects.

Batch Layer Translator (LAYMAPPER)

Map layers onto a company standard defined by a DWS standards file.

Batch Copy Objects (BATCHCOPY)

Copy selected objects into the same block, in the same position, across many drawings - or remove them from all of them.

Super Save All (SUPERQSAVEALL, also CBP_SA)

Save every drawing open in the session, including background tabs.

Text to Attribute (TXT2ATT)

Convert existing text and MText into block attributes, in place. Runs without a licence.

Settings (CBP_SETTINGS) and About (CBP_ABOUT) are on the ribbon tab as well.

3. Known Issues

• Adding several hundred drawings to a tool takes a moment: each file is read to list its layouts, and the status bar reports progress while it does. Processing time then scales with the number of drawings and the work requested.

• The 'Batch PDF to DWG' tool relies on AutoCAD's native PDFIMPORT engine, so raster images embedded in PDFs will not be converted to vector lines.
